•of dance works.
•Presents a performance that perceptively interprets and communicates the choreography, performance, and discussion of dance works.
•Presents a performance that perceptively interprets and communicates the dance with appropriate physical and
•spatial control.
•Identifies and convincingly justifies choreographic ideas and crucial decisions in choreographing and performing.
Leadership and Dance Service:
The Dancer:
•Strives to be an example for younger dancers and peers.
•Positively reflects the spirit and commitment of CYDP in the community at large.
•Shows commitment as illustrated through time spent, or through obstacles (physical, financial, schedule, health, etc.) overcome in order to receive training.
•Shows appropriate restraint and self-discipline.
Respect for Others and Self:
The Dancer:
•Arrives to class and performances on time and prepared, exhibiting a neat appearance.
•Exhibits respect for the faculty and other adults, such as parents and school staff, who contribute to his/her training.
